Turn to Eunique Massage & Fitness for Myofascial Release Techniques in Calgary

Many times we suffer from pains and headaches that go undiagnosed. This can be because of fascial problems that do not show on standard tests such as X-rays, CAT scans, electromyography, myelograms and others. At Eunique Massage & Fitness in Calgary, Eunice uses Myofascial Release and other techniques to treat pains exerted by the fascia. She provides the Eunique Alignment Therapy protocol that includes different modalities learned over 3 decades and is (e)unique to each individual client.

What is Fascia?

It is a tough connective tissue that spreads throughout the body and has an appearance similar to a spider’s web or a sweater. It interpenetrates every structure of the body without any interruption and exists from head to foot. Trauma or inflammation can cause a binding down of fascia, causing excessive pressure on the nerves, muscles, blood vessels and other organs. Over time, the fascia loses its flexibility and restricts motion.

Treatment Method

Eunice uses the Barnes Method, combined with a Eunique Alignment Assessment and other modalities to improve the individual’s motion and help them return to a pain-free, active lifestyle. The John F. Barnes’ Myofascial Release Method is safe and effective in producing positive and lasting results.
