Eunice is a Registered Massage Therapist and Certified Lymphatic Therapist. She is a member of the Massage Therapist Association of Alberta. Her advanced training in Vodder Manual Lymph Drainage makes her one of about a dozen therapists fully trained to provide Lymphatic and Complete Decongestive Therapy in Calgary. Eunice’s fascination with human movement and body alignment lead her to develop the Eunique Alignment Therapy protocol for re-establishing and maintain good health and pain free movement.
Lymphatic Therapy is useful in many ways, as outlined in this lymphatic therapy and on the following pages of Eunice’s website:
Eunice’s fascination with human movement began in the 80s when her love for music and fitness led her to participate in group fitness classes. She then went on to become a group fitness instructor , then a Registered Massage Therapist and has continued to learn about health and fitness, acquiring a variety of skills. Her passion for good health and pain-free movement led her to design the “Eunique Fit Class” that she enjoys sharing. Contact Eunice to arrange a group workshop.
Registered Massage Therapist
Eunice became a Registered Massage Therapist in 1991. She then studied kinesiology by taking distance education classes from Simon Fraser University. Over the years she has travelled to different centers across North America and abroad to study methods of bodywork that integrate the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of our lives.
Certified Manual Lymph Drainage Therapist
In 1993 Eunice became one of the first 3 Certified Lymphatic Therapists in Saskatchewan under the guidance of an Austrian expert who is the last living student of Dr. Vodder, one of the founders of the method.
Eunice travelled to Arizona to study “Myofascial Release” from John Barnes, a foremost leader in this field. MFR and Neuromuscular Therapy, later combined with VacuTherapy soon became her treatment of choice for clients with muscular pain and misalignment.
Chi Nei Tsang
In 2005, Eunice began studying “Chi Nei Tsang”. It is a method that detoxifies the body and trains internal organs to work more efficiently. She then travelled to Thailand to learn more from Mantak Chia, the person who introduced these ancient Taoist monk ways of healing to the world.
The Eunique Way
Eunice had been a figure skater and coach, as well as a participant in water skiing, downhill skiing, snowboarding, and other sports. These sports helped her understand the necessity for treatment and self-maintenance. Back in her early 30s, after many sports injuries my body would “seize up” for a few days at a time. Not knowing what to do about it, I used pain killers.
She has now gained wide experience and knowledge in holistic methods for maintaining a healthy body. Her motto in life is “I’m not getting older, I’m getting better”. It is her aim to help all those who seek her services feel that way as well - The Eunique Way!

Highly Skilled, Up To Date
“I have attended Eunice for MLD treatments for over a year and continue under her care. I am not a local, and although a Canadian citizen, I now live in New Zealand, but, as my daughter lives in Calgary, I visit frequently.
I knew nothing of any of the MLD Therapists registered in Calgary, and chose Eunice by chance and geography. Hers was the closest office to my daughter's home. As it turned out, I could not have found a better therapist for my lymphedema. Eunice is a lovely person. She is quietly spoken, calm and mature. She is highly skilled, up to date with modern lymphedema treatments, and is a careful, safe and diligent therapist.
I have learned much from Eunice on how to manage my lymphedema; her treatments have led to a significant and sustained improvement in not just my lymphedema, but in my mental attitude towards it.
While lymphedema is a chronic, incurable condition, I now feel that I am not alone in dealing with it. Eunice shows a genuine sense of caring and concern. I now have the feeling that there is someone else walking beside me, who understands the daily frustrations and challenge that we with lymphedema face.
I am a family doctor with forty years of experience. I rarely provide public endorsements, but in this instance it is an absolute pleasure to do so. I unreservedly recommend Eunice's professional services to anyone with a chronic soft tissue condition, and particularly for those with primary or secondary lymphedema.”
